Yes kev .The top left white 55 is Charles Carpenters,the first 55 doorslamer to run 200mph in the 1980s,also Dave Riola was another top 55 chevy around that time,I also agree i love em all any 55 no matter what condition or style.

marc we sat at about 2.30 am in orlando 2007 waiting to see the first run of the hearse.....the benches where damp with due it had been raining all day.. it was cold very cold ..out came the hearse just under 1000ft turn right straight in to the wall.. two more runs two more close misses and they close track 3 runs to late .....it was repairable but not seen it since ?????

Was hoping you were gonna post one of Montys 55 (Bertha) I loved that car, well I still do. Remember seeing it run at Orlando Street car finals & then turning up @ Race rock later that night.

Cas was open to offers as well, that night, unfortunately not my offer

Mark just for you, as you say Montys BIG BERTHA was also a top 55 all be it the latest version.I MAD 55.Love it..also loved it when RICK DYER owed it.
