Just got back from skiing, it was minus 20 (plus wind chill) and that's bloody cold!

had a call from a relative in Kiev (Ukraine) today,as it was the warmest day of the week. It had got UP to -16deg. today, from a low of -32deg on Weds night!
the down side is that over 200 homeless have died in Kiev alone. By comparison its a tad chilly here..............
