Russo and Steele will be auctioning off a 1960 Volkswagen Microbus that’s been shortened to half of its original wheelbase and injected with V-8 power

Up front it runs a 1968 Eldorado 472/500 engine, front drive transmission, hubs and disc brakes all went into the bus. The engine is the 500 cubic inch model. The paint is yellow pearl and creamy white. The woodgrain is not a vinyl wrap but it was hand done with thirteen color blends

My guess is that it's a Caddy engine and front wheel drive trans stuck in the back, judging by the engine pic.

Appreciate the work involved and all for stuff abit diferent but sorry it seems a waste of a rust free splitty and a decent V8 and as mentioned why the hell has it got wheelie bars

Takes all sorts and as long as the builder likes it. Hopefully it does well in the sale so he can keep on taking whatever drugs he's on.
