Cool car...what's the history behind it..

 

car originally ran in the early 90s, 454 big block chevy linked to a th400 with a bit of nos, there a few gaps in its history but it ended up with John Claydon, my brother bought off John but didn't realy do a lot to it and it sat in the lok n store for many years, couldnt see it go to waste so I bought it from my brother and have started to put it back together as it was in the 90s, it was featured in the1992 issue of custom car, a few pics

 

so after a good look at things to do ,wrong pistons put in and foul on the heads, and loads of bodywork to do , gonna try and do some of it myself but let commanche race cars do the stuff I cant, and to be honest what they can do in a day would take me a week, lol

Good to see this making a comeback!

 

Cheers its gonna be a long process, body work is in a realy dreadful state none of the panels line up, but realy hope to get it ready for next year

 

other side done, my god what a mess , but now we gonna do the engine bay and bulkhead, its starting to look like a race car again, once again thanks to Bill at Comanche race cars
