    1:24 drag slot cars

this is what i've been into for a couple of years racing at mr d's drag strip at chelmsford and higham its a great laugh with great people, these 1:24 scale hard body cars do 40 mph in less than a second over 60 foot thats fast. they all run 16d cam electric motors home made chassis. there's bodies that still need chassis and the next one to be built for next season is the toyota 1600 gt.

hi yes its a a50 cambridge made by mettoy quite a rare model it very quick its my 2nd fastest car the red chevy is the quickest at the moment running 40-42 mph its a great hobby and better then having models sitting on a shelf nice to see them go, it means you get a lot of leftover parts from kits that dont get used lol.

On pintrest I found this pic. Anything like what you use ??
I like the idea of doing the lil red wagon myself ....
also , is it 'only' 1:24/5 or is there a way of building a 1:64 ( hotwheels ohh the ideas are a flowin'... lol ) version , I remember "microscale" from when I was a nipper.

I have a couple of converted 1/32nd scale chassis' built to take 1/24th scale bodies,
Plus an AMT Camaro, and extra AMT chassis, but they are very much 'clubman' in slot racing terms.
