    Aluminium radiators and cooling fans

Where is the best for aluminium radiators? I know serck Motorsport are very well know with a lot of race cars using them but what are there prices and are they only built to order? Summit and speedway as well are meant to be good for radiators but by the time you buy it and get it shipped over its a hefty amount to pay overall.

Kenlowe fans is obviously a big name again when it comes to cooking fans but what other companies or fan set ups have other people used?

I generally buy through summit racing.you have such a large choice of sizes, that its hard not to find something suitable for youre application.

you can pay duties stateside so you know what its going to cost.

you also have a large choice of brands from summits own to whoever.

I usually only buy branded.serck are about a mile from me but its cheaper and quicker to buy from the states than have one made there,

I second Champion, either from e-bay or summit, I have them in 1 car & 2 trucks in our stable and they work perfectly. I have the perma-cool fans on my Jensen Healey with a 350 and it hasn't run hot at all.

Depending on the vehicle you can get retro fit ally rads to fit from most manufacturers. I got a Be Cool rad for my 65 El Camino several years ago now and works a treat. My friend who deals with Summit a lot brought it in for me and a friend of his made up a shroud with fan for it. Rog.

I Have an Afco radiator in my '34 with twin fans from the scrap yard. They are from a 1999 European Ford Galaxy. The combination works wery well.
    Fan schroud is home made.

Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement.
