For my son, and his stock beetle.

Anyone with a good broker/reasonable service ?

Thanks in advance

You could give Brentacre a shout. Ok, I'm 40, but I've got my Beetle insured with them. Couple of the guys in their office drive aircooled, so they know what they're talking about. Even if they can't insure your lad, I get the impression they'd be able to give you advice on how to get him covered.

Ah, fair enough. Have you tried Footman James? They were decently priced a few years ago. Lancaster are also supposed to be good.

Both my boys have had their rods insured with Classicline under 25. As long as capacity was under 2 litre yet turbo added made no difference.

I'd try RH insurance (owned by Hiscox) or ERS.

The advantage you may have with these is that they're not just brokers, but actually insurers. Essentially this means they can underwrite risks with their own pen. A broker on the other hand may have a deal or some ability to override premium but they're still having to follow the underwriting rules of their insurer panel members.
