Goodyear illuminated tyres:
These illuminated tyres were developed by Goodyear in 1961. They’re made from a single piece of synthetic rubber and are brightly lit by bulbs mounted inside the wheel rim. The Goodyear Tire Company intend to produce the tyres in a variety of colours. So they came up with this just so that women could adjust their stockings at night? Sort of cool in a way though.

Looks like those thermal imaging shots you see on those "Stop. Police. Crash. Accident. Emergency. Car chase" programs on the telly.

Sounds too much like the BM badge wiper to me ....

not to mention all the others like the anti-dog**** system, the wide screen computer with oven controls to cook your dinner as you drive - and optional camera to see it cooking on the screen, the bouncing fly windscreen, etc. etc ...

R&D .. BMW got it licked ... you can find lots of then at this link ... the descriptive text is always interesting too ...
