    '56 Ford C750 COE truck

I have in California, a '56 Ford C750 COE truck with tipping flat body.
I can't describe it fully till I see it personally, but just letting all the guys who keep asking me about COEs know that it will be here by spring, should be loading it end of the month all going well.
It is apparently running and driving and needing some brake work. Has dings and dents, but apparently not much rot.
The screen is broken in the pics, but I'll get a new one for it, rest of the glass is flat so can be cut locally.
    It has a V8 "Y"-block, 4 speed gearbox and a 2 speed rear end.
I'll have to have a stab in the dark with the price as I don't know yet whether or not I'll have to ship it as a 2 pak in the container or if we can squeeze a third one in. I'll also have to pay to have the flat taken off and stacked in the container as it is too wide whilst fitted.
So it will be around 8995 landed here in Scotland with all duties and taxes paid, and with a UK reg number. It is of course MOT exempt. Will be less if I can get three vehicles in the container.
Jim on 07593 187939 or horn.chevy@blueyonder.co.uk or PM me here. Please no e-mails requesting further info or pics as this is all I know right now. I do not take American sellers descriptions as gospel, I will describe it fully and accurately when it gets here and I have a quick drive round the docks in it. You can be sure, I'll keep this updated when it's on it's way over.
Thanks for reading and thank R n S for the ad

Nice truck. Is it worth bringing over the back, it's not like it's anything special

to be honest, probably not, but it might cost more to have it disposed of, and depending where they split it, the hinge for the ram might still be attached under the bed and I could be doing with that bit at least as it'll make a decent tilt body car hauler if somebody doesn't want to go to the expense of making a complete new body. I'll decide when the shippers tell me what the costs to remove/dispose of/or pack in the container, as well as deciding whether or not we get three in the container, and if indeed the bed will screw that up. It'll all be weighed up when it's ready to load.

we're looking at end of March I think mate as it hasn't reached the shippers in California yet (to my knowledge). I was hoping to load it next week and still will do that IF it gets there on time.
