    Smile New guy with a '61 Zodiac!

    Hi all,

    Just thought I'd sign up and say hello. A handful of people may know me, but most of you probably won't!

    I'm Chris, I'm the deputy editor on Retro Ford Magazine and while we do cover a lot of Escorts and Anglias you be pleased to hear that we like a Ford with some rod flavor too, well I do! I blame my dad to be honest. Most people were brought home form the hospital in an Escort, my dad brought me home in a 1969 Chevy Chevelle Malibu! It all started for me then, even as a tot I knew that was a real car. It's not stopped for him though, he's got a custom '55 Thunderbird now the jammy bugger!

    I've owned a lot of motors in my time, but the one I loved the most was my 1961 Zodiac. I say 'was' because I had to part with her four years ago due to those boring financial reasons that get the better of us all sometimes! Luckily though, I've just bought her back so I should be rolling in some proper tin in no time at all!

    Anyway, just wanted sign up and say hi. Have some pictures of my car for your troubles!

    Yeah, I was well chuffed to get her back. I bloody love that car, can't wait to crack on with giving her a full rolling restoration, with some rod flavour of course.

    At the moment it's still on the 2553 straight six with three on the tree. I will change it, but for what I don't yet know. Something never before done maybe, who knows?
