Join the small Sidevalve Owners Club. They will help with parts and advise you on registering. They may verify the vehicle for you to satisfy the DVLA.

Ford side valve owners club are/were listed with dvla to verify details for issuing registration number.do not modify it before getting registered!!I am pretty sure Westbourne done model y glass fibre moulds for body and panels if you get stuck.maybe worth a post on spedeworth and Brisca forums as some have been used for formula 2 historic stock cars.good luck

This is the first log book ive had trouble getting ive pulled about 50 old cars out of barns and estates with no paperwork at all and got the log books easy and I have archive proof with certificate for this y they have told me to restore first then re apply, but I don't want to start it until ive all the panels I need ,ill try those other forums see if I have any joy their. Thought I might try here first as you rodders don't use the wings

there were moulds to make fibreglass ones (3" wider than standard) , I owned them about 20 years ago but I bet they are still around tucked away in someone's garage.
