Any Sparkies/Plumbers, help needed wiring heater controller.

I'm replacing a regular mechanical room thermostat (controlling a Worcester 24 combi boiler) with a programmable one (leaving the current mechanical timer on auto). The present one has three wires, permanent live, switched live and neutral but how do these equate to the terminals on the new unit? (Off-L-On)

Our super duper wireless one is 10 minutes out and the time is pre-set and can't be changed. Oh, and you can't set weekends differently, unlike on the 20+ year old one it replaced...

I have never come across one that you can't set the time and date. I think you need to read the instruction book. Normally you hold the set and select buttons together for a few seconds.
If it's got tits or tyres, its gonna be trouble
