    Blokes shopping

I must be getting a bit of a lightweight now and managed to get most of my Christmas shopping done a few days ago.
I still went into town though to take part in the annual "real bloke challenge" of doing the Christmas shopping on Christmas eve.
Amazing to see how many guys there were marching around with that increasingly desperate look on their face and panic buying any old tut.
Most were in the 45 to 65 age group so maybe it's another case of the snowflake generation letting standards drop.....

we went yesterday and my son got a surprise from a dickhead in a Transit when waiting his turn to go at a roundabout and white van man tail ended him. His car is a year old. 5 years ago when his previous car was 15 days old, a scrote in a ****ed up old pos side swiped him on the same roundabout......

I was in the supermarket yesterday at 8:01 am and there were five other blokes looking lost with long shopping lists!
Bonus was the rather pretty cashier in a santa mini dress stacking shelves...we a lingered a while longer in the dairy section than was totally necessary (i can tell you the exact ingredients in almond milk for example ;o)

Did my food shop yesterday in an asda in the next town. Done and dusted in an hour. Couldnt believe how quiet it was, neither could the girls on the checkout. Turns out that the day before was mental. Same thing happened when buying the family presents 2 days previous.
Result! More time in the workshop and pub
