I've used ACF Howell, Croft Street, Walall, WS2 8JR, for many years now. They specialise in classic car stuff. I've never had any problems. Turnaround is pretty good too. You can call them on 01922 649992.

If anyone is waiting on getting chrome done get it plated SOONER rather than later...another EU directive means most platers are on borrowed time . They will still be able to do chrome byt not our nice stuff as teh chemicals used are to be outlawed,

YUp, directive has already been passed ( 2006) , it's only it's implementation that is on hold . Federation , and others have been involved in trying to get an exemption for Classic vehicles but nothing yet .

Chrome is actually already banned on new cars since 2007!!

What's that finish they use on modern car door handles - it looks like chrome, rather than stainless steel?
