My comment was that I was I was stationary in a queue of traffic waiting to turn right, already across the junction. I have the camera pic that says I moved four tenths of a second after the light. No point in fighting it, even though when the first pic is shot, you can see my brake iights are on.
I don't wan't to get involved in a fight, I don't remember your post or my reply. All I was doing was pointing out that anpr cameras DO pick up black and silver/white number plates.
I didn't 'jump' a red light and never would, least of all in a 70 year old flathead six powered coupe. I might be getting on a bit but I'm not stupid. Well not yet at least.

our local tip has npr and it it welcomes the driver by putting their number plate up....it Always gets my consuls reg wrong..
I got a ticket from a nasty little gatso and the plates on the truck are black backed perspex ones with the silver 'tinfoil' type of letters. So that type are just as vulnerable to cameras!!
What would happen if you painted various numbers and letters the same size as normal reg plates all over the back of your van..
I use Eurotunnel fairly often and their number plate recognition system always gets it right. I was in a '50s sports car with painted on (and very curved) black and white front plate, the system got it dead right.
If some's good, more's better and too much is just enough
I,ve been done for speeding by gatso my car has pressed alloy black and silver plates.
I got pulled on the East lancs road by a policeman with a hand held gun and he said 'The reason I stopped you was because I couldnt read your number plate' I of course replied 'What officer? or words to that effect and he just smiled and said 'Well to be honest I really just wanted a look at the van! We spent the next ten minutes just jawing cars, I reckon I saved at least 50 people from tickets and met a decent petrol head polceman.
In the immortal words of Fred Offenhauser............
"There are street rods and there are hot rods.
Street rods have a Chevy up front and a can of wax in the back.
Hot rods have a flathead up front and tools in the back."
