Once they get them in trucks, cars and bikes will be next.

We've had that in the UK for quite a while in all trucks over 3.5 tonnes max (I think it's an EU thing) the truck speed limit in the UK is 60mph but the trucks are now limited by the speed limiter to 56mph (90km in EU speak) a lot of smaller trucks and vans are also speed limited by the operators so that they can put holier than thou stickers on the back.
I can't see them putting them in cars yet but who knows

I recon the tech' is in the car that it could be done remotely! or even worse automatically (imagine the mayhem that would happen when you get to one of those slow down areas on motorway roadworks and every car slowed at exactly the same time)....

200mph, 7.5-second passes and road legal - what's so special about that? You can get all that from a combustion engine, plus some extra attitude, and there's no pollution to water supplies from lithium mining.
Wanted! Back issues of Street Machine, American Car World/American Car and Classic American. Please PM.
