    Re: Fuel prices

This one has been posted a few times recently and they tend to go round year after year.

The boycott Esso and BP emails have been doing the rounds for at least as long as i've had an email account. They're nothing more than chain mail mate and absolutely worthless to keep on forwarding

Sorry to be harsh but you get bored of seeing them so often

    Re: Fuel prices

I remember it way before the 2001 email listed on Snopes --> http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/gasout.asp

Notice it's the US version but it's still the same bloke giving this 'good idea'

If it's that good and worked then why's he still harping on about it

    Re: Fuel prices

sorry if it's old news, but it was new to me, that's why I posted the link and I thought it could be a good idea if the response was there. It showed a possible way to fight back??

    Re: Fuel prices

Govenrment said they would stagger the 3p price increase in fuel over a bit. Nope, our local gargaes have put the fecker up 3p gradually, over a week. TW*TS. Then when the government increases the fuel as they said they would gradually, they will put it up again thus upping it more than the 3p the government said. License to print bloody money.

    Re: Fuel prices

On a local basis you can make a difference by all going to the cheapest one. Certainly works round here queues at the cheapest and tubbleweed at the others until they bring down the prices.

    Re: Fuel prices

Craziest thing up near me is the most expensive fuel is an unmanned, pay by card, 24hour Tescos. They dont have huge overheads, there are other garages close by but even the wife uses it as "you get double points"
