I use a couple of hessian (I think) decorating covers. you can get really large ones and they are quite soft.

I don't seem to have any problems with them and have been using them in the garage for a few years, mainly as the wooden doors on the garage are an appalling fit as they have warped badly, so just used for keeping the dust of the interior of the coupe.

    Hi
I was going to pm you. I'm helping do a custom and am looking for an interesting interior light. Have you come across anything a bit special when trimming?
I use carcoons for my Mercury and 32 Roadster.Carcoon Storage Systems
You see them a fair bit on ebay.
Before that I used covers from The California car cover company California Car Cover
