Sadly, rod shops are only propped up by our generation.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a vauxhall Corsa driven by a spotty goofball with a big bore exhaust for years, I'm not sure young kids even change the wheels anymore!

did you just make that up.

if you dont run a rod shop, you will have no clue who our customers are. and who really cares if it dies.everything has a life span.

what youre find is youre sad little scene has changed into individuals who just want a nice ride, without the scene tag

Well, this is a cheery thread innit? Yes it's ultimately doomed, so is the human race if we want to get deep, but it is still here now. It's always been a niche thing and while it was undoubtedly much bigger years ago, the scene, covid aside, is still pretty vibrant. People are still building cars and hell, if you want a lary V8 daily on the side, America is turning out the most powerful muscle cars it has ever made.
Can't we just enjoy it now and for the next few years instead of wondering when it will all come to a stuttering stop?

Just need to recreate the smell of a car running a carb, leaking a bit of oil and trans fluid and we're almost there LOL.
