    Little Richard

    Just heard earlier this afternoon Little Richard has passed away,gutted we never ever got to see him play live as he cancelled due to health issues fair few years back when we were due to see him.another legend gone and no longer with us but his music will live on.rip to one of the kings of rock n roll.

    Yes sad loss, one of Rock n Rolls' OTT showmen always smiling and enjoying his time performing. I always thought he was a bit "Tooty Fruity" and when I first heard "king & queen of Rock n Roll" that answered a question that's had me wondering since seeing the docu/film (in a cinema) in 1974 "Let the good times roll" where I thought "his makeup is applied a bit heavy for a bloke" (which is something you didn't see in North East England, and if you used after shave you were a p^££).
    Liked his songs as they were edgy and Rock n Roll was not yet acceptable (to the masses).
