I am no expert but I use Microsoft picture manager which was already on my pc. right click on the picture and select 'open with'. Then look for picture manager, you can then select under 'tools' the option to reduce. A side bar pops up and you can reduce the picture by selecting the % by which you want to reduce it by.

If you don't have that program open it with 'paint' and then crop the picture that way, then do a 'save as' to save the smaller picture.

There are some on line picture 'crunchers' you can use as well but I am not sure if they are free.

    Hope this helps

Did you get any picture editing software with your camera ? , if not Irfanview is a great free program , get it here ......> Irfanview

Choose the picture you want to use and using the crop tool draw around your car keeping the cropped section dead square , then Edit >> Image Size and reduce to 80 X 80 pixels .

There's a free download programme called PIXRESIZER which is easy to use and can do batches if you've a lot to do...

Just ulpoad a pic as your Avatar (User CP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Avatar), the board software should automatically resize it to avatar size
