    Most boring drive

    I found this video and it bought back memories. At least once a week I used to drive from Roswell to Santa Fe and back again and it has to be the most boring drive ever, so this video gives you some idea of just how boring. Vaughn is a tiny little truck stop about halfway between Santa Fe and Roswell, but when I made the drive I was in a marked police unit so the speed limit was simply a suggestion, but even at 100MPH plus, it was still boring. Grab a beer, sit back and prepare to yawn.

    Las Vegas to Wendover for the fiftieth annual Bonneville Speedweek was pretty hard to beat on the boring stakes. I was only kept amused by the mail boxes along the road at the end of a dirt track that disappeared into the distance. I bet the postie there got more than a sack and a pushbike!!

    I can see why so many road signs get shot at "over there " I did Phoenix Az to the Sonoran Desert 127f / 54 c !!! It was not 'that far' , but it was .... " oh looky , another f**kin' big cactus !" ) and when we got to the visitors centre .... CACTUS ! Yay........ Well , I wasn't really expecting Topiary & rose bushes & dandylions but ... Hang on .... what was that ... A REAL LIVE ROADRUNNER ! Beep Beep Trip Bonus ! { As a mopar fan / warner Brothers devotee .... }
    Kayenta to Farmington - a 300 ( Boring )mile round trip cos I needed nail scissors as I was wearing sandals & had talon toenails apparently ... !
