All Tesla vehicles were affected a few days ago by a communication 'issue' - Harley Davidson's Livewire leccy bike has a charging 'issue' owners are being advised to only charge at dealers.
Just left Warr's Harley Davidson shop on Kings Road, Chelsea. Well fook me, they have their electric bike in the window and offering test rides, outside there are three electric charging points with two Teslas and a Jag.

Electric Harley,? the fkn things hardly run from week to week with a (sort of) petrol engine from new, never mind "buzz buzz, fizz , fizz" LOL.
Trendy ****, nothing else.
I simply can't understand why people think electricity if still the answer?
All you have to do is stand outside a single petrol station and see how many cars go through in an hour and how quickly they refuel . The look at that number needing somewhere to park whilst gettinga 4-6 hour charge ?
That's without considering integrating power supply system sinto every town on agrid that is often close to peak as we stand now...and how the electricity if going to be generated and the cost to the planets atmosphere on supplying batteries.

"E" motorsports...ugh, they daren't show the fkn huge generators they have to use that run on fossil fuel... and the "spare cars" they have to have on standby because the junk wont perform for more than 30mins.
That bit is what snowflakes wont admit too, just run with the "trend of the day", its easier.

It doesn't matter whether it works or not, it's being seen to do the right thing. I read an interesting article in a magazine the other day that's fairly pro-leccy. Over its entire life an EV with a 24kWh lithium-ion battery will be responsible for just over 20 tonnes of greenhouse gases. 10 tonnes of this in the production of the vehicle. A new petrol equivalent vehicle would be approx 27.5 tonnes, 7.5 tonnes in the manufacture.
However, if you're driving a vehicle that's already made that will do 30mpg and you were to limit your mileage to 30,000 from here on in, over the lifecycle of a 48kWh leccy one it'd be greener to hang on to the old petrol one. OK, hypothetical stats, but when you consider many pensioners when they retire buy a new small vehicle, possibly now being persuaded to buy an expensive electric one, and then only do few miles, then there's a bit of a con going on.
But surely diesel was the new environmental saviour over petrol? Oh sorry, I forgot I've had a sleep since then.
