Double Diamond was available from the pump I'm sure - Ind Coope brewery in Romford - the smell of yeast would pervade the whole borough when the wind was in the right direction - hated the smell for years - then became accustomed to - then liked it - brewery shut down - then missed it.
Four chews for an old penny - remember the Black Jack ones (again something now that under ethnic correctness would have to be re-named). And in no particular order. Jamboree bag, sweet cigarettes, sweet tobacco, Barratts Sherbet Dip, buying two ounces of orange or Spearmint pips (he cheapest sweets from the jars), frozen orange and other flavour Jubblies. Seeing packets of three in the barbers, "Something for the weekend Sir"? (Durex and Ona) Milk on your doorstep in glass bottles with foil caps (which the local Tits would peck through for a free drink), Wilkinson Sword razor blades. Brillcreme. Grandfather wearing shirts with detachable collars, elasticated arm bands worn over shirt sleeves (to keep sleeves off hands if working. String vests. Instamatic camera. Betamax, C60, 90 and 120 cassettes. 8 Track tapes - Quad 8 track tapes. Colourtune spark plugs.

Can anybody out there remember cheese and tomato snacks. Like crisps but more crushed. I know I used to get them from my school 'tuck shop' but nobody else I talk to remembers them.
If it's got tits or tyres, its gonna be trouble
