My 2000 non turbo, non HDI Berlingo has covered 520,000 on its original engine & box. I got it with 387,000 & a blown head gasket, you could still see the cross hatch hone marks in the bores at that milage.

It's dog slow & doesn't smoke even on start up but all the time it returns 600+ miles on a tank I'll stick with it.
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

Buggered if I know Russ, I'm not even 100% what size it is, think it's 1900.

    Hi Al,

1900 will be the XUD engine, Peugeot's most successful engine by a long way.

Have a read of this article i found on another forum, this bloke has got a Peugeot 405 (XUD) and the car has racked up 980,000 miles, original engine and not rebuilt during that time.

    Cheers.
