    Phantoms Street Kruisers annual weekender

Is anybody on here going to the Phantoms weekender at Blackford 19th to 21st July this year? The Saturday cruise out is coming to our place, so if anybody on here that I haven't met yet is coming along, make yourself known to me. I'll be the fat **** that's likely to be marshalling you in if I can't get anybody else to do it lol, though if Jamie is helping with that that'll be 2 fat ****s guiding you in.
On entry you and your passengers will get a ticket for free food and another for a free drink, and we have the superb "Uncle Red" rocking out some tunes for you, that'll be Uncle Red in the shed lol.
Parking space is tight this year and most will be in the overspill at the yard gates, please keep the parking neat so you all get in. It will be a case of first in last out this year.
Hope for good weather and we'll have a great afternoon.

Ah well, see you Sunday mate. I think Andy is coming through. I just bought a load of new catering equipment so that I'm not beholding to that bike club for the use of their burger trailer again, so we'll have to have more events to make the purchases worthwhile lol.

thought you would be anyway Billy? You not going to Blackford then? If not, then pop along about 12 so you're here before the cruise turns up and you can get parked up and fed earlier. I've said to a few to do that as it will spread out the catering a bit and cut the queue.

well, the numbers were down due to the weather, BUT the sun shone brightly on Grangemouth when our event started. Thanks to the people who turned out, sorry about the **** marshalling lol, but hope you all enjoyed Uncle Red and the free food and drinks.

yes mate, can't remember the year but young Scott (who helps me in the garage) and his dad have about 15 vintage Indians, Harleys and Triumphs. Scott is also building a '58 GMC panel van on the 2 post lift to the right in the 'shop. He's only 25 now, bought the van from me last year after selling the '55 GMC he bought from me for his 20th birthday. He's had the chassis clipped with Heidt's Mustang 2, 4 link rear, has fitted a brand new 383 stroker at 440 hp and a new TH350. He has big plans for the sheet metal. He himself also owns a project 1925 JD Harley which I've assisted a bit with work and 'shop space. I've got him on my 'shop policy and he took my '55 BelAir to the actual show at Blackford today whilst my son, also 25 took the wife's '57 BelAir and I took the '68 Impala convertible that I have to sell. I like to see the young 'uns getting involved. Scott and his dad started out as customers and are now close friends and they also helped me physically construct that shed, along with other customers who have become friends. I put the band on, (band leader bought a '53 Dodge from me 18 month ago) got a deal on portaloos from another guy who will be buying a pickup soon, and laid on the burgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, tea/coffee/crisps/biscuits etc as a way of giving something back.
Here's that Indian and one of their Harley's at a wee event we have in our town
