I heard he'd gone 6.85 recently.. It's a fairly light car i know but it's pretty awesome performance. Looks like we need to go quicker..

its not that light! we really struggled with this one to keep it under the weight limit for a promod! from what i can remember if we had gone 7lb heavier it would have needed 10 extra bars to be legal to race!! this is entirely due to all the onroad requirements he had like powerheadlamps and power windows, passenger seat , full dash unit and console cover with cupholders etc, i think the headlight lenses and taillights were 4lb which is lots in a promod, it also has an original front fibreglass nose and fenders which is loads heavier than a race style carbon one, he also didnt want a front spoiler fitted which has proven all the naysayers wrong that the reverse angle of the front end would flip the car over 180mph! it has fibreglass bumpers with tube steel frames and chromed to look original (huge bucks!!) then there were space issues with the pass seat as thats where all the iceboxes for intercoolers and electronics go along with air bottles etc for fresh air to the helmet, it truly is one of those cars that looks really simple untill you delve deeper! it really was a headscratcher to get it all in there and still come out with a perfect 49/51 weight distribution(for promods) if rod puts weight on he wont pass tech! mind you his lovely wife tina will help keep that off

Andy, are promod rules the same in europe as the nhra? if so then the body may be a bit low! has to be 31/2" at the front of the rocker (sill) looks damn cool though mate!
