I've moaned and ranted about this fact far too often ,there's a lot of cocks out there and not all of them are new to the scene , I've been sold some right ****e by believing long distance descriptions from 'names'.

I've heard of engines being swapped out after sale but before vehicle collected

What about cocks selling import paperwork separately that should have gone with the car in the first place ? Plus stolen cars and stolen parts ...,dangerous parts , shagged parts ,..they're all out there ,some people simply have no conscience.

Yep, as i said, it was being sold as a project, but had a 471 on it. Actually seemed very cheap at £4k with everything it had.

Id guess its always been that way ,some just see it through rose tinted specs.

If this had happenned pre internet it could of taken a year befor you heard about it.

Internet just gets this sort of stuff out there instantly.

One day i will get a customer who hasn't been turned over by someone on the rodding scene.i wont hold my breath.

Got given a name, waiting for someone else to confirm it independently. Geography is correct. Doesn't help the buyer though.

He may see his name and not swap the blower, and it may warn people in future dealings with him.
