Our shows don't seam to work like the yanky versions.

Only really good shows are from way back, and not rod related.the mark Evans one and original scrapheap challenge.

Monster garage UK could of been good, but it wasn't..

We are a lot more reserved than our backward cousins, and you do need a big/good personality to make a show work.

GMG worked.the spin off with Arron,as much as it was good,he didn't come across well as a presenter.

No good filming here.i have the personality of a fish.there,s no drama,no shouting or cussing,I don't throw things,no pranking

    No false deadlines,no bull****,

Hopefully we will still get new programs,as there's a lot of talented shops out in the usa.

Recently saw a show called Bad Chad Customs. He's a bit of a redneck but got an eye for doing thing differently, no fancy machines just enthusiasm and a desire to build stuff. He built a bubble top and it showed you how he made the bubble for it which I wouldn't of had a clue about.
It's only funny till someone gets hurt..........then it's friggin' hilarious

To be fair to bad dad chad, he's probably the closest thing to a hot rodder on the tv, making some really wacky stuff, much of which I have to say looks hideous but beauty is in the eye etc, lots of mig welding and you don't get to see quite how much filler is splopped onto the bodies, but I don't thing he's used a single new thing let alone crate motors and chassis, so good on him.
Just a passer by as you might say.

That was watchable. You're right.he was like 90% of home builders the world over, using whatever he had lying around.

You may find they were sculptured with filler, then so are many other people's cars.

He does pop up on the custom car group on Facebook every now and then.
