cut the door out today and started a frame round it to keep the rain out and filled all the screw holes sanded it and gave it a coat of sealer/paint!

i have a pair of old trailer units

    http://www.towsure.com/home/images/types/head_7240.jpg

mounting them to a 2x2 angle A frame (still to make) using 8" trailer wheels as they are very light weight and cheep!

What sort of weight will the finnished trailer be ? Im just thinking you dont want it to be to light if you plan to tow it on the motorway . But as you say yourself it cant be to heavy with just 35 BHP to tow it. keep posting pictures as you progress as would like to see the finished item

Ian, get down to Wickes & get some 1" polystyrene sheet & bond it to the inside walls (including roof) then skin the inside with hardboard. It'll make it a lot warmer inside. It won't cost/weigh much but it'll make it a lot more habitable on cold nights.

looking real good, if its gonna be light i would fit a stabiliser to it,
will help to stop it getting blown about a bit.
