Trying to track 69' Mustang Fastback history

    Hi all,

I'm trying to find some history about a 69' Mustang fastback I bought a little while ago.

In the glove box is this little plaque

Were any of you there and did you take photos of any 69 fastbacks?
Car may of been winter blue as not sure when the matt black was applied.

Trying to track down what the reg number was, I've been told that the car has been off the road for nearly 20 years and during that time the V5 has been lost and numberplates long gone.

Did ask the DVLA if they could help if i gave them the VIN number, got this reply
I should clarify DVLA are only able to access vehicle records using the registration number of the vehicle.

    Cheers

    Free Case of beer

to the first person that gets me a photo of a 69' Mustang fastback from Bruntingthorpe 1985 with a Reg No so i can get a vin number from the DVLA.

If that matches my car you get the beer.

    Cheers

Well, this is from Brunty '85, but I don't know sh*t about Mustangs so I've no idea if it's the right model!
It's a scan from the edge of a 35mm print.
    Hope it helps!

It's the right year, can't see if it's a fastback or coupe.

But looking on the DVLA site it's looking like it could be the one as it's the right engine size and hasn't been taxed since 1992 so ties in with what i've been told.

    Date of Liability 01 04 1992
    Date of First Registration 20 08 1969
    Year of Manufacture Not Available
    Cylinder Capacity (cc) 4949CC

Am sending off the request form for info to the DVLA tonight so fingers crossed.

Will let you know if it's the one as soon as i know.

I'm sure there must be more photo's of Bruntingthorpe in 85' so search your scrap books, as there's a case of beer riding on this.

    Cheers
