    web site creation

as some of you know i make nice billet ali bits for cars and bikes, a couple of people have said i should have a web site, sounded like a good idea so i bought a domain name but now havnt a clue what to do with it (i know i could pay somone lots of dosh to do it but i cant afford that). does anyone know of some simple software that can do this or would somone with more computer knowledge than me be willing to help out in exchange for some machining work. im not looking for anything as flash as this site just a place to advertise some stuff, show off parts on cars & bikes and display contact details etc.

    cheers

talk to Luke Bennett at http://www.escapedesign.net/ Luke manages his dads Fuel Altered but designs websites also. Pretty sure your services would come in handy to him as well, never know you could help each other out ?

    SmileBarter is good!

    Hi,

if you strike out I can run something up for you no worries.
I never did get my billet hubs turned down so that'd do for me!

Here's a random couple of 'brochure' sites I've done.
(didn't design them, I'm an artworker, but if you have an idea/style/site you like it makes it a whole heap easier)

    http://www.dixonengineeringsupplies.co.uk
    http://www.leaflet-distributionuk.co.uk

You will have to buy domain hosting (annually), preferably from whoever sold you the domain.

    cheers

Thumbs upIf you want have a go yourself...

... and you want to be able to edit or update it easily, maybe doing it yourself or getting
it done in a 'popular' (easy to fiddle with) webpage software is the way to go.

I just remembered that a mate who has a surf school in Lanzarote
created his own website using free software like the coffecup thing
    (http://www.webpage-maker.com)

This is straight off with no web build experience whatsoever!

    Brilliant job!
