    What car did your parents have ?

    What did your parents drive when you were growing up ?
    Was it something cool ? Did it inspire you to get one or maybe you still have it ?
    Post up those old pics

    For me, the one I remember was my Dads Victor 101 estate, E reg in burgandy. Still remember the bench seat, dash handbrake & big steering wheel. Oh, & nice black vinyl seats, that welded ya arse to them in the real hot summers we used to get.
    I remember the day it was sold I'm sure it went to the scrappy long ago.
    I've often thought about getting one, spech when one pops up on Ebay but sure it wouldnt be the same.

    I'll post a couple of pics when I dig them out (without dodgy 70's haircuts n stuff )

    hey my dad had a 101 estate too then a 100e escort estate - zepher 4 then the modern stuff renault 5 an allegro- mk2 escort- cortina mk 5 - siera -astra and then the mk 5 escort,

    My dad went to have a look at a Moskovitch and a Wartburg , there was a showroom in Leeds that sold them new!!!

    I didnt know much but I managed to talk him out of buying either of those , the Wartburg sounded like a Vespa

    well they were dead cheap, thats why mine bought a s100 skoda... bet that was around 72 / 73 ?

    I had an allegro got it off my Grandad when I was without a car & worked in a pub.
    The boot floor fell out after I put 2 crates of light ale in it Nah, wasnt a rust free one
