What car makes the best gasser

    Hi
I've always liked the look of a 41 Willys as my favourite gasser but saw some piccies of a Ford Thunderbolt up in the air and am coming round to these 60s cars up more and more.
What's your favourite gasser and any piccies would be nice
    Best
    Neil

Always thought Henry J's look the absolute dogs ******** as Gassers, although got to agree with you on the 40\41 Willys, oh and by the way its the only way a willys should be built, nose bleed stance and all!

Always been partial to Devon pickups as gassers myself ....though Beeetles look nice as well.

Definitely without question the Austin Maestro. Preferably the Vanden Plas.

Almost anything built before 1958, after that their all a bit big and just wrong.
But if i had the choice, 41 Willys, 33 willys, pop van, or fordston or Thames, what ever you want to call them, but you know what I mean.
I don't think the Maestro, unless it's the one with the talking gear knob

Tri chevies and pops, look good as gassers, the car just has to have that certain "something" about it to make a good gasser. I think anything could be done, but it depends on how it's done, if that makes sense

    Cheers,

    Stu.
