I guess it's just an arbitrary cut off point, like why the speed limit is 30 not 29. It would be nice to see the allocation made based on a thorough assessment of everyone's medical history, but there isn't really time for that...

That's a new group out complaining that birds up the stick have been shafted twice during covid. Had bugger all support being off work despite the Self Employed Covid Support scheme being set up. Apparently it's discrimination.

My real world experience is a mate, self employed decorator had a hip op in 2019 so his books show feck all income. Thus he's been offered **** all asistance. Meanwhile Bath is going ahead with pollution charges in town costing him £9 a day. A new Transit is £30k and will not take part exs rendering his van pretty worthless anyhoo.
Bet he'd have summat to say to the preggers brigade.

Actually, after my mental health issues last year which on reflection was triggered by being prevented from driving my kustom and going to shows I'm gonna set up my own group...
