Well am I miffed or what ? Rang for a quote on my 61 Econoline as I thought my renewal quote from Flux was a little steep and the fact that everyone is raving about how good C.V.I. is I thought I'll give em' a bash, very nice lady on the phone goes through all the details puts me on hold and then comes back with sorry our under writers won't cover you with that post code !!!!!!!! Been insuring for years, lived here for nearly thirty years never had a claim or conviction etc etc......... MIFFED :shake: !!!!!

Just insured my 100e pro street with Greg, top bloke who knows his stuff and a cracking deal.

depends if theres been alot of claims in your area? thefts etc can all make a difference. that is maybe why flux's quote was a little steep.

No mate it's a load of tosh, they reckoned the area was a flood risk which it's not. I should know I friggin well live here ! Also I have had two to three vehicles insured constantly from when I was in my teens I'm now 56 and I've never ever claimed for anything, got full no claims bonus and I've always lived here since I was two years old. Insurance company's don't want to give you anything. It's always made me wonder if I did need to claim for anything whether they would pay up or try to weasel out of it with some crappy excuse to make the cover void. I read some of the stuff on my present policy the other day = can't go to my place of work in it, can't use it between 10pm and 6am, don't go over 1500 miles or we'll have to charge you more, what a rip off load of old shit ! They are all like this as far as I can see. I would have thought that I was a very low risk as I own my own house and the vehicles are garaged at my home address. No wonder theres lots of people driving around with no insurance :tdown:

How the fuck can we be a flood risk we live in the highest point in leicester , everythings down hill from here.

Just spoke to Markus (Greg was busy) great quote to insure the Camaro, which I have gone with. Not only cheaper but includes break down ( which my previous one didn't,t) but also for double the valuation including mods.

Makes a pleasant change to deal with people who know what they are talking about and genuinely want to help.

No hesitation recommending them and a pleasure to deal with.
