Bucket lists, being what they are sometimes stay just that.

But, in spite of a few setbacks recently, including redundancy, unemployment etc, I have been able to keep busy.

Gutting and rebuilding the kitchen, a bathroom etc.

Nicola, my wife also pushed me to strike out/off some of the items on my bucket list.

One was my trip to South Africa to ride 6500km with my brother on motorbikes, a lifelong dream fulfilled.
Thread link below, main pic report started on page 22.

Grizz & Dozer's Ride South Africa, Ride Report Complete. YouTube Videos.....

I think most of you knew the Grizz-Mobile I bought about 5-6 years ago with the help of Oldbus in Germany.
Then there was Myrtle, Nicola's 56 Ford Anglia 100E again, fetched with the help of the Oldbus transport system.

Last year we had decided to sell both these cars in order to get one car, so that we could go to shows etc together, towing the Grizz-Pod Trailer, rather than in separate cars. Part of the deal was that I needed another job.
This happened while I was in the middle of who knows where in South Africa on a motorbike.......

Thank you all for the replies and support.

Of course the interesting thing is that those who bitched about the content of the thread do not have the willpower to stay away, or create their own focussed thread for super Specialist viewers.

I do hope they stay AWAY and do not click on this thread as it clearly caused them severe distress.

      In the mean time........

      A public service posting below.

      Collection only please.

This bundle has to be worth having for someone.

Four USED 16” Penta wheels from a Mercedes Benz with almost new tyres. Not perfect but reasonable or better depending on your expectations. Would do with refurb if you are doing a 100 point resto, if not, look at the pics, lacquer peel not visible on two at least.

A spare alloy with rubbish tyre.

Four more tyres that could do some workforce you.

Look at the photos as all the information is probably in them.

      All the info I have.

      Tyre tread, deeeeep.

      Tyres fitted to the wheels.

Solitary random, odd spare also Benz figment.

      Spare tyres.

      Tread depth.

      All of them together.

£150.00 of your Queens Pounds please.

Please do PM me if interested, as I rarely look at this section.

      Always welcome mate.

Thank you all for the various replies and support on here.

Also the gentleman who approached me at the NSRA SWAPMEET at the weekend today he missed the thread updates, but understood why I needed to walk away.

      In the mean time though......

      Well,

By now some of you know that the pause on the 66 can be officially lifted as my divorce is through. So pretty much no chance of it getting pulled into settlement as a valuable asset, and with my MoJo returning over the last 6 months or so, the time has come to get back to it.

With Sally who I met 5 weeks ago, and some of you may have seen in the Blazer thread, already making typical woman noises indoors, and then, when I took her down to the garage, she took a couple of sneaky photos while I was in the loft packing stuff away, and sent one to me from her bed when she went home.........

      With the following comment......

I guess the time has come to start getting back to this job.

My day job, admittedly is keeping me a lot busier than it may have a few years ago, but I also know that small steps forward are still progress. So I will just have to do it bit by bit like mate Ian Brown and some of the other guys have done.

She seemed to enjoy the short drive in the Blazer too, and has been sending me rude automotive photos of barn finds and abandoned vehicles almost since day one.

      Meet the whip cracker.

      Good news ??

Back home, cars swapped around, created havoc out on the street as the local füktards do well in excess of the posted 30mph, often nearer 70-80 mph.

      They hate obstructions......

Ready for the Kent Breakfast Meeting tomorrow.

Hopefully good weather and even more guys than usual in their American cars and trucks.

      Later guys.

With the Blazer not being a Project and the weather changing, it is obviously more and more fun going out in it.

I invited mate Kevin to join me for brekkie, he loves old cars too, but is currently building a VW T6 based camper as part of his retirement planning.

So off at 07.30 the first stop was to get some fossil juice.....

First to get there and park up, we went in and ordered breakfast, the. Went out to watch people arrive while the kitchen got going.

      Arrivals.

I got Gene a steel plate ram at mate Darren’s workshop, to be completed by Gene.

      Repurposed window frame.

      Happy with his brekkie. Kevin.

A FREE SHOW SOON, SHOULD BE A GOOD DAY OUT.

Sunday also saw Brits, bikes and others arrive at The Woodman for breakfast.

      More in a moment.
