Just a quick note and to settle some potential queries.

Regarding the donations, i'm not doing a runner with your cash or anything.
I understand the reasons why the donations were given and will happily refund anyone who feels I haven't met my part of the deal in that respect.

I'll be working through my list for anyone with a current active donation and will be in touch shortly

This is not something we enforce on our sites. Most sites we own, come with some type of paid membership, that allows members to upgrade their account for a site donation. We have this type of things on forums that request them. If it is something the site wants then we do our best to get them it.

The site will always be free to use.

As it stands, I'll be staying on in my existing role so that aspect hasn't altered.
What it does mean now though is we have a well equipped tech team behind us so that I haven't got to do all that as well.
With that and working alongside Helena it means I can dip in and out to make sure the family is covered as well.

I can't see much changing for members really, same group of Mods, same opinionated group of arseholes for members (that's assholes for Helena's benefit) and like everyone else has said, well done Si, you created this place, this community but it is the community that makes it what it is.
