Phew that took some reading.

Well done to Si for building up such a great place your input and amazing common sense was a joy to read and your ability to make this place tick the way it has I doubt will be matched.
But there was bound to be some backlash from selling this Forum to a company purely out to make a profit from it, hopefully all will be taken as I am sure it was meant and those concerned will get over any personal attacks as "NO NEED!" Freedom of speech etc! ;o)

I have done my web site for 12yrs + and thanks to one great guy who I have never met it only costs me my time (not much the last couple of years admitted) as Lawrence Farr hosts my site for free for that I am eternally grateful, if it ever does start to cost me money I would be forced to close it down... I have tried to pass it on in the past but couldn't even give it away ;o) So well done Si for even making money from yours I wouldn't know how to really. Though I got my first offer last week of £80 per annum to host an insurance companies advert, I declined as not in keeping with my site but wonder if I am being stupid in these weird times we always need more money.
Si I know your decision was not all about the cash it was also about the family commitment and that I admire and understand completely.
