    33 Austin Pick Up.....Round Two

    Hi Folks.
Just embarking on a new build, second time around actually.....
Can I post pictures....In a word "Nope" I'm following the instructions in the sticky but the site say flash problem but Win 10 says it's installed. Hmmmm.
Any pointers then I can dive in ?
    Cheers.

    Cheers Buddy.
    OK here we go.....
I have a 33 Austin body that I had from a previously abandoned project...as you do, thought I'd have another crack at it as a rebody on a taxi frame going for the 8 point rule.
Straight away I have two issues....as per...
1, the outriggers are in the way and need to come off to get the body over the chassis so that's 5 points gone, nice.
2, I was hoping to use the stock taxi steering but that ain't gonna work either so it's a toss up between a front rack or a different cross member with IFS.
My plan was to build this fendered with running boards but as it looks like I'm off to BIVA another option might be to go traditional instead, suicide front end etc but how does that fair with BIVA.

Appreciate any input at this stage as my initial plan is now scuppered.
    Cheers.

Running boards for Biva or rebody then let them fall of................ triggers broom springs to mind (which is how DVLA works) just the handle first and its the same broom......................

I thought that but I still have to get the body over 'em.....or not then I guess.

Cheers for the link to the taxi rod. I've scanned through it over the last few days but he's kept the taxi body...to a degree so he's covered in terms of the outriggers and steering.
