Cheers ,thanks for the comment . If you go to Home - Chevy 37 Pickup you will see an artist impression of the truck . I will be keeping the swage lines and the body work to the running boards will be more stock looking . Roof left full height with curved screen. More pics to follow.
yep i checked out the link ,get the idea ,cool
Liking the impression of what its going to look like, did the rear fenders you have come with the truck? or did you source new ones or repair the ones you had, because they look in amazing condition.
Hi there , no the rear fenders were purchased of a guy up in the Dartford area . They look better than they real are I had them blasted . They were quite badly pitted on the inside but it was mainly splits and accident damage .
After a 3 month wait the wheels and tyres came in from the states.I have been worried since placing the order and paying for them that I had worked out the back spacing correctly . They were custom made for me and could not realy send them back if i had c***ed up. Any way here are a few pics of progress . Because i am using smooth running boards (i had these folded locally to my dimensions) i have made new running board mounts. These will tie the front and rear fenders together and stop the flexing. After taking advise about the biva test i am going to make a new chassis . This is not the end of the world as the rear half is new and the front section is easy to copy . I have looked at most of the threads on R&S and i find them inspirational.Keep up the good work guys.
