Thanks again , as I have said before it's just an excuse to get out of the DIY .You know the how the conversation goes " sorry luv but I have got the truck in a million pieces and if I don't get it welded up I will forget where it all goes " or something like that !!. So I keep cutting it up to increase my chances of staying out in the"man cave " for a little longer .Thanks again for posting . There are so many builds on this forum it really is insperational. Thanks guys.

Finally the rear section of the cab is joined to the front ......well a small part of it is . After alot of fiddling about I managed to get the infill down to 35mm instead of 45mm .Not really possible to see from the pics but the flow from door to rear section of cab is much nicer than it was . you wouldn't think it would make that much diference!!!.Next task is to do the vertical infill then probably the horizontal infill up to half across (just under the rear window) .Then I shall leave the rear of the cab and crack on with the "a" post and the infill sections to the front fender .I shall then get the fender supports modified and fitted .Then it's time to do it all again on the O/S !!!!!!!!!!!!!.I shall have to pluck up the courage to do the main roof infill but that's a while off yet.

Welded in a few "infill" pieces today ,with these few bits in the cab is starting to gain a bit more strength.(bit like a wobbly jelly before !!!!).I shall probably weld in the lower vertical "infill" piece up to the crown of the roof then tun my attentions to the other side .......and do it all again !!!!!!!!.

great workmanship as usual. however (and its just my opinion) the area halfway between the bottom of the rear window and the upper of the 2 swage lines doesn't look to flow as well as the rest (in the last 2 pics). it may look better with one curved piece from the window down to the swage? obviously now's the best time for changes...... or just tell me to f**k off and mind my own business . hope you don't take offence, it's just an observation from the pics. neil.
need a job done on your project? i may be able to help.

Hi Neil, no offence taken at all. I think what you are seeing ( please tell me if I am talking crap) is that the infill piece below the window has had very little hammer work yet .This will be done when the other side goes in . Hard to explain but the swage line has stayed vertical then the piece above this gets dressed into the new strip then into the original part of the roof.If you are looking at the second to last pic ????.If I could get a good pic of the corner of the cab that has had a small amount of hammer work done it would be possible to see the curve . Please let me know if I have now put you into a coma ???
