Thank you guys, really appreciate the great comments.
Not the progress I was hoping for this weekend .
I made up the two sun visor recesses

Then welded them into the upper screen trim.

    Thank you very much .
Finally …………..I think I'm done with the over head console/ trim etc etc . What a job !!!!!!!!!. I think I would rather build the truck bed again than go through the interior stuff again .

Anyway here are a few pics of the outcome . Not the best pics but hopefully it makes sense !!!!!.
After making and welding in the sun visor recesses I needed to make the screen pillar sections which stop just above the door openings .I have tried to hide as many fixings as possible but where I couldn't I have sunk some m6 cap heads to hold the trim sections in place . I also modified the original centre section as I didn't like the shape as it joined the screen frame .( might make more sense in the pics .
    Original shape (top)

    New shape.

Inside of new shape showing the mounting.

    Screen frame .

Rear screen frame with the ends finished and the mounting plates welded in.

Then the two side trims, which wrap around the top of the doors and then continue around to meet up to the rear screen frame .

Now the whole lot in place as I said not the best pics but here goes.

Next jobs are wiper motor mount etc headlamps ( modify some 1938 ones to fit ) take a look at making the grille

Great to see an update on this again. All the interior metal work is still ahead of me, so great to see how you went about it.
