Ok folks, yes not a rod, but definatly a ***
This is my little play toy, she is a VERY rare old girl ( well that's what I been told ). She is one of only 421 Pontiacs assembled in General Motor's Antwerp plant during 1966, that is all pontiac models.
I bought her as a project to build into a racecar, I'd even had a cage fitted before finding the above info out:****er: So considering the rareity I have decided to try and restore her to as near as original. The as near as bit is due to the fact that I don't have the original engine as it's now replaced by a 455ci block, it was a 326ci.
When I first bought her back in 2002 she was yellow, and non MOT'd so I had a new boot floor fitted and a lower driverside rear fender fitted, a few other bits and MOT, the paint job was a bit bright for me so I had the red painted on ( along with the tattered flags YES they are painted) this was meant to be a short term paint job till I could get her off the road and worked on fully.
Since buying her I have moved twice and she has had to be stored at freinds ect, and unfortunatly as at the time not knowing I got shot of some of the panels and bit removed so now I need to source remplacements.
