i gave my anglia 6 heavy coats of flake in 2k clear over a balck base then 5 more of 2k clear, all the same day and virtually no thinners to keep the buildup high. full black coverage achieved. wet flatted and mopped the next day before the 2k goes too hard. none of this 2 coats then flat after a couple of days then repeat malarky that most say to do with flake. i've done flake jobs a few times like this and never had any issues.
    neil.
need a job done on your project? i may be able to help.

Think that's pretty much where I'm heading, its only a small car, so shouldn't take too much flake to get full coverage.

Just incase, I do run out of flake, I'll start collecting stripper glitter now.

Think he was aiming for 'Raspberry' but came out sorta pinkish!!
Larry Watson painted it, so surprised it wasn't 'louder' instead!

In that picture, it looks good, but was actually too pinkish!

Like the colour I sprayed, but will use more flake/coats, as I don't like the salt'n'pepper look, with the black base showing through.

    thisYup is online now
so paint it a nice red the same colour as the flake and you won't get the salt'n'pepper look... have the pearl red as your colour for the richness ,and flake over the top for the bling.....
