Amazing build, really enjoying your updates. Do you mean you had to cut the cover into three pieces to bead roll it?

yes thats what i mean, cut into 3 pieces.

i have loads of patients but im not a doctor.

pushing on with the center panel, made up a 5mm thick ring to mount the gear stick gator to. welded the first 2 bits back together and welded the mounting ring on the bottom side.

wanted to run the battery cable inside a metal tube which will be welded into the gearbox tunnel.

clutch fittings have arrived so will try to get them fitted so hopefully i can start it up and drive it.

    What an amazing build.
It looks like you are using an LT77 gearbox though, I reckon you will be swapping that for something else when you get it on the road.
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt", but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

I've already mentioned that when the build started, lets hope there's room for a T5 or similar......

Cracking work tho, I still think it makes mine look incredibly shabby in comparison

not a great deal done tonight as one of the clutch fittings is wrong so will have to order another one.more at the weekend.

I've spent all night reading this thread, what a great car, great planning and fabrication skills and what a great bloke you seem too, I love the fact that you have welcomed peoples advice and changed your own plans at times in the build to get something to work, no snobbery or know it all attitude, I take my hat off to you and really can't wait to see this in real life....... Like probably everyone who has been on this thread.
