got a bit done today, top wishbone mounts now welded on and all seems to fit okay, put all the front suspension on and even the steering arms are in the wright place as they are.forgot the camera so had to bring the crossmember home to get some pics.get some better pics on on monday.

the top wishbone mounts are adjustable in and out to adjust wheel camber.

[QUOTE=chop top mk2;554720]yes that is what i have done(drilled one half and turned the over down to suit) as the shafts are solid.have done a 2 thou interference fit so they have to be pressed together and then of coarse welded. should be strong enough, hopefully

sorry to go back to the driveshafts, i had my shafts done at dave mac in cov he said thay were good for about 220 240bhp as long as i didnt go down the drag strip with massive wide tyres on
any more power and would have to go tubular

oh and this looks great nice work so far

That front end is excellent. You should put it into production, I'm sure there'd be a market for a few of those.

    more pics.

you can see the new steering arms. also pulled the steering rack apart ready to be shortened.

the red tape line is how short the rack body will be.
