spoke to a guy called mark gardner today about getting a fitech efi carb for my engine. he say,s it will work really well if i get the 600 power adder unit as it will work with the blow through set up. the fitech unit will work with a manifold vacuum of just 6 so will work on the rover engine. so it looks like i will be going this route.

very help full guy, if theres any problems with setting the fitech up he says there is a full technical backup, in some cases he,s even gone out to sort out problems himself.

at 1100 quid i still feel its a pretty good buy for what it does.

got this through the post today.

going fitech, after speaking to a few people it seemed the only way to go to make the tina more driveable.

all ready geared up to run the fitech as i have all the right size fuel lines in and the correct fuel filter and pump so should not be so much of a problem to fit. really impressed with it lets just hope it works as it should.

    MYTHING is online now
Heard good reports and particularly about how easy they are to set up, apparently you MUST drive the car a lot of miles so it can learn otherwise it doesnt have enough history in its memory to run as well as it can
IT'S NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT...IT'S WANTING WHAT YOUVE GOT

Good point, how many miles do you think you'll average in the Cortina?
