will you run flexi tube up to the front of the car
oil cooler will be fed by that slot in the front panel via a stainless steel scoop, it will be all bolt in if it works,???????????/
got the alternator bracket polished today and also made and polished the oil cooler mounting bracket.
get them welded up on sunday. few more bits arrived today so will now be able to get all the intercooler pipe work sorted.also have to chop the front seats up so i can get them mounted in position so the steering column can be installed. going to be busy.
been working on the inter cooler pipe work this weekend. saturday it took 5 1/2 hours to fab one pipe.
made from 3" alloy tubing that was a mission to make but wanted to do it in one so as not to have loads of joints, well worth the effort.
today sorted the intack to the carb.
the biggest challenge was to fit the top inter cooler pipe , once i cut out the slam panel i got it to fit.
finnaly got it all fixed in place.
will make a panel that bolts on to the slam panel to hide the pipe work and to make it easier to fit it all.
i think this last pic shows just how far the engine is set back, the rocker covers are lower than the top of the tyres.
next is to get the oil cooler mounted and then start measuring up for the oil lines. more soon
also got the alternator mounted.
