    The lift is really good you can spin the car around and also take the legs off out of the way ,I think it was fitted in the 1940s when the workshop was built

    When I started work in 1970 that was the only lift we had, great for welding sills . Only thing is no safety and they can stick up over night and air leaks out , can drop to the floor in the morning.

    So far the ramp has been perfect I use it for welding and also for paint work , sometimes it drops a inch or two when your standing under it ,as you say no safety

    Maybe worth putting something underneath it for when youre under there.

    From experience when a lift fails its instant.you wouldn't survive..
